Freedom of the Feria

For me my perfect Sunday is going to the local market (feria), wandering round and discovering what the fuirt and veg in season this week, seeing for the first time purple cauliflower in all it's beauty and seeing yams and turnips beautifully displayed in rows next to shiny read and yellow chillies. This market inspired me to get back in the kitcehn and explore different types of cuisine and recipes that might do justoice to the flaours just waited to be tasted! The colours, the people, the noises, my partner and my son plodding along beside me. I feel at home here and I'm in charge. Touching the fruit, looking for the cheapest onions - makes me feel good and alive!
